Meet the ZEB

The ZEB is a green boiler that’s easy to install, use, and maintain, meaning you can help the environment with minimal effort.

Ideal for small and medium sized homes, it’s an easy switch from any boiler, taking only 1-2 days to install. Plus, you don’t need to make any big changes to your home, as it works with your existing pipework, radiators and heating system.

It’s also the perfect alternative for the 20% of homes that can’t install a heat pump. If you don’t have outside space, you need planning permission or don’t want to do extensive work to your home, a ZEB could be the answer. It offers the option to go green whilst being a direct replacement for your existing boiler.

It’s easy to use – once installed, it automatically learns how much heat you need and when you might need it without you having to do anything. Plus, it can be controlled from anywhere with an App, so your home is warm when you need it.

How the ZEB works

Want to know how the ZEB works? Watch our 3D animations to understand how the ZEB generates and stores heat, and then how it distributes this heat to your home. You can also find out more by visiting our ‘Meet the ZEB’ page.

Greener than gas & oil

Looking for a boiler that helps save the planet whilst keeping you warm? Meet the ZEB. It works just like your existing boiler but without the emissions and pollution.

Did you know that 31% of carbon emissions come from home heating? Switching from a gas boiler to the ZEB will save you 2.2 tonnes of CO2 – the equivalent of 7 flights from London to NY or streaming TV content 24/7 for four years. It also means you can remove your flue, which immediately improves local air quality helping you to breath fresher, cleaner air.

Plus, you can avoid the messy, polluting spills and leaks that happen with LPG, gas and oil boilers. And, since it’s smart, it can store heat at the greenest times making it a better choice than an electric boiler, which uses peak (or the dirtiest) electricity.

Do your bit today to help tomorrow by choosing a greener boiler.

Cheaper than electric boilers

The ZEB is unique – unlike an electric boiler, it stores heat for when you need it. This means you can store electricity when it’s at its cheapest (usually at night), saving it to use during the day when you need it.

What does this mean in terms of running costs for the ZEB? It’s half the cost of an electric boiler to run because you won’t be paying for the electricity when you use it (usually when the cost is at its highest), saving you up to £1.5k a year!

As the ZEB is smarter than other boilers, it also knows just the right amount of heat to store, meaning you won’t be paying for more than what you need. Plus, storing electricity at the cheapest times usually means you’re also storing it at the greenest times so you can save the planet whilst using cheaper heat!
