If you are a customer you will use the tepeo app to configure and manage your ZEB. Secure authentication via an email address and account password is an inherent and necessary part of delivering this service to you. We prefer you to authenticate using a third-party Single Sign-On (SSO) service so that we do not collect or store your account password. Whether you choose to use SSO or not we will process your authentication credentials on the lawful basis of performance of a contract.
If you purchase a ZEB or subscribe to a tepeo Care Plan, we must process financial data to collect your monthly or annual payments. We do not store your full credit card, debit card, or bank account details directly on our own servers. Instead, this data is securely collected and processed by our trusted third-party payment gateway, Stripe. Our lawful basis for processing payment information is the performance of a contract, and we retain transaction records to comply with our legal obligations under UK tax and accounting laws.
We offer finance products from a panel of lenders to help you spread the cost of your ZEB. tepeo LTD is an appointed representative of Koze Group Ltd, which is a credit broker, not a lender.
If you choose to apply for finance, you will complete the application directly through the Vendigo platform. tepeo does not collect or process any personal or financial information relating to the finance application itself. The Vendigo platform then submits the application to the relevant lender(s). tepeo and the installer generally act as separate data controllers for their own processing activities, rather than joint controllers.
Please note that once your data is passed to a finance partner, they become the “Data Controller” for that specific information.
